“Museums write huge explanations to ensure people get it, but you sometimes end up feeling that I must be really stupid since they have to over-explain everything.”
You usually enter the space already thinking, I am not getting it, or you have questions about the whys, whens, and whats, sometimes making you lose the essence of the art and the feelings they excrete.
The observer is smart enough to co-produce the narrative of art, which lets them experience something different. So, why not skip the words and let our minds and brains do the rest?!
